It was published in Italian and English, then only in English. <!--more-->Steve Wexner, from the Cleveland Clinic, was the first co-Editor. Both Mayo Clinic and St Mark\u2019s Hospital supported the project with members of the Editorial Board.<br \/>\nSome outstanding Italian coloproctologists were also involved. &#8220;Techniques&#8221; became indexed in 2000, with the Springer-Verlag as Publisher. It is the official journal of several colorectal Societies, including Italian, Mediterranean, Israel, Eurasian and Chinese.<br \/>\nThe SICCR uses to publish its Annual Report and Guidelines. &#8220;Techniques&#8221; has the impact factor since 2010, and will be published every two months starting from 2012. Full text downloads have been 4,352 in 2010.
