SICCR promotes the scientific research carried out by its members. The bodies designated to promote and oversee the society’s scientific activity are the Board of Directors and the Research and Audit Committee. Research proposals (e.g., randomized clinical trials, observational studies, surveys) submitted by a member or group of members will be evaluated by the Research and Audit Committee, which will be responsible for reviewing the work, making any suggestions or amendments, and ultimately approving or rejecting them as company studies.
SICCR encourages committees and specialized sections to involve as many members as possible in research and the development of scientific studies.
